Thereupon, he joined HEC Montreal as an intern in the Energy Management Development Program (EMPD) department. During that same year, as head of independent auditing, he worked at the Mayoro Wade firm.

In September 2006, he became Deputy General Manager of Carrefour Automobile, specializing in the sale of luxury vehicles in Dakar.
In July 2010, Khadim Bâ became the General Manager of the West African Leasing Company (Locafrique). He worked hard to make it ten years later the No. 1 leasing bank in Senegal.
In 2013, he established a ten-year partnership with the U.S Agency for International Development’s Feed the Future initiative, focusing on the agricultural sector in Senegal. Nearly 12 billion FCfa of investment were mobilized for the benefit of producers, mainly in the Senegal River Valley.
Since 2015, Khadim Bâ has contributed up to 20 billion FCFA to the financing of Sonacos seed purchase campaigns.
In August 2017, following the purchase of 34% of its capital from the Bin Laden Saudi group, Khadim Bâ entered SAR capital (African Refining Society), the oldest refinery in West Africa, created in 1963.
In October 2020, with Harouna Dia, Mustapha Ndiaye, Abdoulaye Dia (Senico) and Khadim Bâ (Locafrique), 227 billion FCfa were mobilized for the realization of a gas power plant to be erected in Senegal by 2023. This 300 MW infrastructure carried by the West African Energy (WAE) consortium aims to reduce the cost of energy by 40%, allowing thousands of households to benefit from it.

In early April 2021, Khadim Bâ concluded a new financial participation for the Dakar International Hospital. The project consists in providing Senegal and the sub-regionwith a high-level private hospital currently unavailable in the Senegalese health system, that would meet international quality standards.

By the end of April 2021, alongside WAC Advisors (West Africa Capital Advisors) and SIRN (Naval Repair Infrastructure Society), Khadim Bâ signed a protocol agreement for the financing of infrastructure in the fishing sector.
Over the next 10 years, his ambition is to sustainably transform the entire fishing industry, namely by replacing wooden dugout canoes with fiberglass canoes, strengthening Senegal’s position in the ship repair sub-sector and building fishing ports housing, among others, processing units.
In January 2022, spearheaded by its executive director, Locafrique and the USAID Trade Hub launched a $24 million (CFA 13 billion) partnership to increase the financial inclusion of agribusinesses in Senegal. They are keeping the momentum going by prioritizing entrepreneurs in Senegal’s agricultural sector, as well as increasing access to loans for businesses in other sectors.
